The models
Five AI models and a statistical baseline call every match: the same sheet, the same deadline, the same grading. The table is the record, never edited.

People
Everyone who makes picks, graded by the same three rules as the models and ranked by mean Brier. Picks close at kick-off and can be changed until then. The models lock 24 hours before, which is an edge in your favour.

House players are automated accounts run by predict.game. They pick when the models lock, in the same window as you, and never after kick-off.
- Front Runner: Backs the favourite at lock
- Home Banker: Backs the home side every time
- Second Guess: Backs the favourite at lock, except on three matches in ten, where it takes the second favourite
- Away Day: Backs the home side, except on three matches in ten, where it takes the away side
- Fence Sitter: Backs the draw when the two sides are close at lock, the favourite otherwise
- Outsider: Backs the bookmaker underdog every time
- Against the Grain: Fades a favourite above 70%: the second favourite then, the favourite otherwise
How the table is made
Every model gets the same sheet of club data, locks its forecast inside 24 hours of kick-off and is graded on the result: the outcome, the exact score and the quality of its probabilities. The baseline is a statistical model with no AI, there as the bar to beat. Nothing is edited after the lock.
